We are a short 10-minute walk from the main road, but we are far enough away that all our guests can wake up to the sound of native birds. We are located in 5 hectares of native west coast bush which is home to many native creatures and the endangered Weka can often be seen roaming around the camp.
Each of our cabins is a unique unit with a variety of amenities, from standard cabins to self-contained cabins and studio motels. We can accommodate disabled guests and the 2 bedroom motel is fully wheelchair accessible.
We also offer a range of sheltered pitches and horizontal hard base pitches, all with plenty of space.
Your Coastal Hideout
For your entertainment, we offer the tranquility of the original bush, a covered barbecue, a rest room, a playground for young people and an 18-hole mini golf course for all ages in the entire holiday park area.
This holiday park is the closest accommodation to the Solid Energy Sports Center, ideal for sports and swimming groups.
We are centrally located within the city limits for day trips to the beach, seal colony, Denniston, Old Ghost Road and Karamea.
Beaconstone Eco lodge is a self-catering lodge for independent travelers that sleeps up to 14 people. We are an environmentally award winning solar powered retreat with views of the Paparoa Mountains and the sea. It's an absolute treat in New Zealand, experiencing the real Aotearoa.
